Donate to Ashraful Uloom Children's Home
Ashraful Uloom’s Children’s Home aims to break the cycle of poverty by providing a safe and caring homestead for underprivileged, destitute young boys (aged 6-18) from challenged backgrounds. Our mission is to provide food, clothing and necessary amenities for these children – in an environment where they can thrive and develop their inherent potential.
The children attend the Absic School in Kelvin, Johannesburg and madrassah at Ashraful Uloom’s Marlboro institute. Along with a permanent caretaker and a cook, the services of a full-time tutor have also been deployed for the children. Presently, there are 20 boys at the Children’s Home.
"Seeing how these young boys grow and blossom in front of us, whilst we know the challenged backgrounds that they came from makes it all worthwhile. The smile of the boys is my greatest joy." said Moulana Wadee, Chairperson of Ashraful Uloom
